My husband told me yesterday he had heard something about this on the radio but he didn't catch whether it was an awareness day or month.

That's great there is a whole month devoted to adoption awareness. It's certainly a very worthy opportunity for a lot of people to make positive differences in each other's lives and I sure wish everybody the best of luck with it.
